It’s taken me over twenty years to make this. After endless designs, redesigns and unreleased builds, I finally sat down and finished a new version in a few weeks. Funny how that works, though something has changed over the last year.
I’ve been deep in AI, designing, building, and exploring where design sits in all this change. The deeper I go, the more inspired I get, yet I also find myself craving the opposite: raw, creative work that shows its process, and the people behind it.
I started Establish in 2010 as my design studio. The name is about bringing ideas into existence, and it’s built on the belief that design decisions shape everything, and the early ones compound the most. If anything, that’s truer now than when I started. It’s why I’ve always worked with early-stage companies, helping them figure out what to build and how it should feel. So this site is my open studio: my work, projects, ideas, and a bit of life along the way.
I’ve had the most success building the things I wanted for myself. And the people I gravitate towards, the ones I admire, are doing the same. So that’s the plan: build what I want, and see where it takes me. It’s the most human thing I can do.
There’s more work and more sections to add as I go. But I’m proud to plant a flag today, and claim a small corner of the web that’s meant so much to me over the years.
